Adams State juniors Stephanie Cotter and Brianna Robles took the top two spots in the women's 3,000-meter final in 9:06.03 and 9:06.72, respectively, at the NCAA Division 2 Indoor Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. The 3,000 performances were the two fastest in Division 2 indoor history. Cotter also won the mile in 4:49.86 and led off the second-place distance medley relay for the Grizzlies, teaming with Jessica Simon, Nicole Lawrence and Ava O'Connor to clock 11:16.28. Robles also finished second in the 5,000 in 15:51.26, helping Adams State to its fifth Division 2 women's indoor title with a 52-51 victory against Minnesota State.
