Estes jumps into third on day one of NCAA Championships » ASCGRIZZLIES.COMPublished by
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – On the strength of a huge personal best jump with his last attempt of the day, freshman Alex Estes (Yampa, Colo.) moved up four spots to finish third in the long jump and became the Grizzlies newest all-American on day one of the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Grizzlies received team points from Estes as well their distance medley relay squad, the only two finals events of the day for ASC, netting them a total of 10 points on Friday and leaving them in sixth. Ashland (Ohio) and Indiana (Pa.) lead the 59-team men’s field with 18 points each following the first day of action. Shippensburg (Pa.), Central Missouri and Stonehill (Pa.) round out the top five with 13, 12.5 and 12 points, respectively. Read the full article at: www.ascgrizzlies.com
